Installation Tips

1. Turn off and unplug the filter before opening the canister.
2. Remove the used white filter pad from the top filter basket.
3. Place the new white filter pad as the final filtration layer, above the biological media and beneath the filter cover.
4. Reassemble the filter and restart operation.
5. Replace the white filter pad when it becomes heavily soiled or during routine maintenance to maintain optimum water clarity.
